It’s a really great question and I lot of people are curious. So, I’m sitting here thinking “hummmm… what do I say? Or rather, write?” I wish I had a high tech, super complicated mathematical equation I could tell you goes into the cost of wristband to make me look really smart. However, the answer is really simple.

While there are many things that can drive the cost of a wristband, including the material, quality of product, printing options etc. There is only one main driving factor. POPULARITY! Yep, that’s right. It’s just like high school all over again. Remember, when you wanted the jeans all the other kids were wearing, and you had to pay double the price just because the cool kids had em’. Same rule applies.

New cutting edge bands like RFID and Cashless wristbands can catch higher price points because that is what people are asking for. As they become more common and are carriedor offered by more businesses the price points drop drastically, after that, it really depends on the quality of the product. I deal with wristbands every day and if it were me purchasing I would really want the best of both worlds. (I mean who doesn’t right?) While I want what others in my industry have, I also want to make sure that I have the best in my industry! (Is that asking for too much? I don’t think so)

This is why at Wristband Giant we want you to have your cake and eat it too, and you won’t have to pay double for it!

So, If its just a matter of popularity then how do you know you're actually getting the best deal or price on your wristbands?

Honestly, my best advice to purchasers is to look at the total package when you make your purchase. Often times people just view it as buying wristbands. Its much more than that.  Some things to consider:

1) Are you actually getting the product YOU wanted?
2) How was the service? Did the representative brush you off quickly or were you asked questions and given advice on your potential order?
3) If you ordered online was the process seamless?
4) Did the provider offer you solutions that will benefit your business, not just this order but with future orders?
5) Were the prices comparable to competitors?

What I'm trying to say, is that the lowest prices aren't always the best prices. You have to think LONG TERM. If you buy wristbands for your event only because they are the cheapest available you are really doing yourself a disservice. You could be missing out on high level income generating opportunities. Do your research. See everything the company has to offer you.
